if Memory Serves
By Jonathan Tolins.
Steven Culp played: Taylor McDonald
This is a dark comedy about show business, the media and celebrity scandal.
In the play an aging television star, once America's favorite TV Mom and
sweetheart, gets desperate to revive her sagging career. But things take
an unexpected turn and get complicated when her son starts dealing with
disturbing memories of his childhood. The play then gets into child abuse
and how it can affect "fame", when the son's accusation towards his mother
as a child abuser, come to light in the press.
Steven plays Taylor. A very sexy, young, handsome newcomer in Hollywood
who is in a relationship with the "aging star". Through the scandal he
stands by her side, but she brings up the fact that their age difference
is a problem. A problem they both "overcome" when she becomes famous again
thanks to the scandal.
